Respawn Plays for Extra Life
If you aren’t familiar with Extra Life, it’s a pledge drive to raise money for children’s hospitals by playing games for 24 hours straight. This year we have a big (and growing) employee team participating at Respawn and to show our commitment we’ll be playing together, here at Respawn HQ, for 24 hours on October 20th. What will we play? Video games, card games, board games, tabletop RPGs…we’re stockpiling all the games we can find for this event.

Or you can choose your favorite employee from the list and contribute to their fundraising efforts. Feelings may be hurt.
Then, on October 20th, you can follow along with the action right here on our site where we’ll have a live stream and live blogging from the event. Because who doesn’t want to see Respawn employees butcher Rock Band songs, re-enact the Star Trek bridge with Artemis or try out Hannah Montana: The Movie, the game? We’ll also be having our first ever employee Street Fighter tournament, complete with trophy.
